Our Big Tent

Radix Big Tent Festival

The Radix Big Tent Ideas Festival set out be a new way of doing politics: an annual non-partisan platform for people and communities to engage with political leaders and influence public policy.  We:

• Brought together people from all backgrounds and political affiliations, for a day of political and cultural debate.
• Provide an opportunity for the host city and region to showcase innovation and to present directly to decision-makers imaginative new ways of driving change for the better.
• Sought to leave a legacy wherever it went: investment in local businesses by our own angel investors; establishing dialogue between entrepreneurs and local policymakers; constructive discussion across political divides; announcements of new funds from government ministers and more.

Although the Big Tent Festival is no longer an annual event, we continue to hold its objectives and approach closely. We will continue to organise events and activities under the Big Tent banner and hope to host Festivals again in the spirit of the original Big Tent, as a means to promote our programmes.
