Donald identifies the repeated failings – including those of the international community – that have let countless opportunities for peace pass by. This webinar will be an opportunity for him also to reflect on current events and discuss the possible outcomes and trajectories we could expect in the Middle East and beyond.
Donald MacIntyre
A past political editor and chief political commentator of the Independent, he was the paper’s bureau chief In Jerusalem from 2004-2012 and then wrote Gaza: Preparing for Dawn, published in 2018 and still in print but now updated in e-book form as Gaza: Past, Present and Future.
Vicky Pryce
Vicky Pryce is the Chair of Radix Big Tent and a leading economist and author, whose career includes being Director General for Economics at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Joint Head of the UK Government Economic Service, and Chief Economist and Partner at KPMG after senior positions in banking and the energy sector. She is currently Chief Economic Adviser at the Centre for Economics and Business Research. Vicky is also Chair of the Economic Advisory Council for the British Chambers of Commerce and a visiting Professor at King’s College, London. She is a patron of Pro-Bono Economics and was co-founder of GoodCorporation, a company set up to advise on business ethics.
