We will be joined by Rachel Blake, MP for Cities of London and Westminster and Radix Big Tent’s newest fellow to reflect on the current political situation and the challenges facing our key programmes: investment, housing and political reform.

There will also be an opportunity to meet Radix Big Tent’s new chair, Vicky Pryce, and to hear from Chief Executive, Ben Rich, about our latest programme looking at the role of health in high street regeneration.

Rachel’s constituency incorporates the City of London and she served on the Public Bill Committee for the Pension Schemes Bill.

Housing Commission

Rachel has extensive experience of housing policy, especially during her time as Councillor and Deputy Mayor in Tower Hamlets.  She has played an active role in scrutinising the Renters’ Rights Bill.

Resilient Democracy

Since August 2024, Rachel has been a member of the APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax, contributing to policy work addressing financial crime and corruption.
