Resilient Democracy
During 2024 Radix Big Tent convened a coalition of individuals and organisations writing and campaigning in the field of democracy, ethics and integrity in politics, with the aim of holding the incoming Labour Government to its promises on cleaning up Westminster.
In February 2025 with funding from the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust and in partnership with Unlock Democracy and Compassion in Politics, RBT hosted a two day conference at St George’s House, Windsor under the banner of Resilient Democracy with participants drawn from academia, campaigning, business and charity sectors.
Following this, the Resilient Democracy programme is focussed on five campaign streams: Political Funding, Votes at 16 (with AVR and citizenship education), Ethics and Integrity in Politics, a Global Network of campaign groups, Representation. Bringing together key players in each of these areas, RBT is providing a platform to help these organisations and individuals work collectively to achieve real practical change.
